Twilight Imperium Strategy Cards

Absolutely stunning bling for my already blinged up TI4 game.
Great quality highly detailed laser etching, and arrived well packed and safe in Scotland.

These are replacements for the TI4 strategy cards. Unlike the original cardboard cards, these are made of hard plastic. The text and detail is "engraved" into the card which gives it a nice texture. The text for Diplomacy and Construction are also the updated versions from the TI4 codex. The cards have more of a glossy finish which looks great under light.

They are much thicker than the cardboard cards so keep that in mind if you have a custom storage solution. While all of the text is accurate, some of the lines are missing periods. The glossy finish may attract fingerprint smudges, especially with how often these cards are handled.

My biggest disappointment is the painting. The colors are generally much duller on these than their bright cardboard counterparts. The Warfare and Technology cards are also very similar in color. With the premium price point for the "hand painting", I expected the colors to be better differentiated and closer to the original colors, and this is why it loses a star for me.

Overall, these definitely showcase a "premium feel" over the cardboard cards and are a nice upgrade over the original components.

A sturdy foundation and plastic cast for the strategy cards of TI4. The addition of the detachable bases makes them easier to spot on the table. Thank you very much Beam Forge.
